Exclusive Data & Analysis

GSA’s exclusive production forecasts for farmed shrimp and farmed finfish have been fixtures of the Responsible Seafood Summit for almost 20 years. Once again in 2023 the results of GSA’s aquaculture production survey were presented and analyzed by Rabobank’s Gorjan Nikolik (pictured), with contributions from Ragnar Nystøyl and Chris van Bussel, both of Kontali. Additionally, Urner Barry’s Angel Rubio provided production and trade data for a number of key wild seafood species, including lobster, crab, groundfish and wild salmon.

What’s an event without fun, entertainment and opportunities to network? You can't visit the birthplace of golf and not play a hole or two! In addition to a golf tournament on Day 3, the 2024 Responsible Seafood Summit will hold three receptions: an opening reception, a cocktail hour celebrating the Innovation Award finalists, and a Seafood Summit signature: a gala reception and dinner at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews with live entertainment, all while celebrating the tastes Scottish seafood has to offer.
